Understand when each fee applies, how consolidation works and which Friday a shipment may be dispatched.
Each box or envelope delivered to the warehouse is identified, registered and linked to the customer account.
Combines selected parcels into one shipment. The base fee covers the quantity shown in the current price table.
Applies to each parcel above the quantity included in the consolidation base fee.
Final checking, data organization and administrative preparation for dispatch.
The customer purchases from a Japanese store and uses the Japan Forwarding address with the customer code. Incorrectly identified parcels may be delayed.
The parcel is registered with available information, weight, dimensions and external photos. Each physical volume is counted as one parcel.
The free period starts on each parcel’s receiving date. Each parcel is exempt from storage fees for 30 days. The period does not restart when another parcel arrives or consolidation is requested.
The base fee includes up to 2 parcels. Each parcel above that quantity costs ¥1.000. A consolidation with 4 parcels creates 2 additional parcels, totaling ¥2.000 in additional consolidation fees.
The customer chooses separate shipping, waiting for more purchases or consolidation. Consolidation requires a recorded request or authorization.
Selected parcels are combined and unnecessary outer packaging may be removed when safe. Consolidation may reduce volume but cannot guarantee lower shipping, which may use actual or volumetric weight.
The quote lists applicable services, extra materials, extended storage and carrier shipping. Insurance and optional services are added when selected or required.
Dispatch scheduling requires quote approval, confirmed payment, a complete contents declaration and completion of any checks.
To enter Friday dispatch, the shipment must be fully paid and cleared by Thursday at 12:00 noon Japan time. Later approvals normally move to the following Friday. Holidays, carrier suspension, severe weather or force majeure may change the date.
Tracking is provided after carrier processing. Transit estimates exclude customs holds, inspections and destination delays.
Service fees may be revised due to changes in Japanese minimum wage or labor law, labor, rent, energy, materials, technology, taxes and operating costs. Own-fee changes will be announced in advance whenever possible. Carrier, fuel, insurance, exchange-rate, tax and government costs may change without notice and apply to the current quote. A paid, valid quote will not be changed retroactively except for mandatory legal, authority or carrier changes, or incorrect calculation data.
If this explanation differs from an individual quote, the accepted quote, service terms and applicable legal or carrier requirements prevail.
Only the storage fee is waived during the free period. Receiving, consolidation, additional parcels, preparation, materials and shipping still apply.
On the date each parcel is registered as received.
The base fee includes 2 parcels. This example creates 2 additional parcels: 2 × ¥1.000 = ¥2.000, plus the base fee and other applicable services.
